Antoinette Yane Paul, née Magny, 84, a long-term resident of Central, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
Mrs. Paul was the widow of the late Pastor Gramond Clement Paul, the former superintendent of the Haitian Wesleyan Church.
Born in Pilate, Haiti, on July 7, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Felix Blemur and Amalia Louis Magny. A secondary school teacher by training, she gave up a career in education after marrying Pastor Paul, choosing to become a full-time home maker. She was active in numerous church ministries, including prayer circles and short term evangelizing missionary trips.
Surviving her are: daughter, Ruthe Olga Paul of Greenville, SC; son, Dr. Joshua Paul of Greer, SC; daughter, Magalie Paul Boyer, Esq. and son-in-law, Rev. Robert of Port-au-Prince, Haiti; daughter, Doctor Colonel Rachelle Paul-Kagiri and son-in-law Peter of San Antoinio, TX; and daughter, Dina Paul-Parks and son-in-law, Kirk of New York City, NY; grandchildren- Phillip and his wife Kimberly, Rachelle, Rebekah and Jonathan Boyer; Kaigua and Kanja Kagiri; Noelle and Savannah Parks; India and Luca Paul; great grandchildren, Selah and Eden Boyer; a younger brother, Paul Magny of Long Island, NY; a younger sister, Lucrece Magny Gilles of Ottawa, Canada; and numerous other relatives.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, December 23rd at 1pm followed by funeral services at 2pm at ALIVE Wesleyan Church in Central, SC. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
