Argle (Hon) Cartee Thompson, 94, of Easley, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the the late Jessie Richard and Leila Inez Bargoil Timms, Mrs. Thompson was the last survivor of nine children. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Relmon Cartee (Mary), Allen Cartee (Emily) all of Anderson, SC, and Eddie Cartee (Delta) of Commerce, Georgia; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson is predeceased by her husbands, Roy Ralph Cartee, Wesley Ellison, Bill Thompson, and a son Larry Cartee.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
