Arlene Harrison Cooper, 66, of 216 Pine Road, passed away Saturday, April 02, 2011 at her residence.

Mrs. Cooper was born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Frank Cely and Mary Louree Harrison. She was a graduate of Carolina High School and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mrs. Cooper was a career missionary for 33 years having served in Costa Rica and the Republic of Panama and was a member of Siloam Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Jackie Cooper of the home; three sons, Donnie Cooper of Greenville, Andy Cooper (Lydia) of Mauldin and Allen Cooper (Susan) of Dacusville; two sisters, Annette Barr (Ken) of Powdersville and Lora Bridges (Tommy) of Powdersville; five grandchildren, Ashley, Emma, Maria, Sarah and Hannah Cooper.

Funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Siloam Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Escort of Honor will be the Arlene Cooper Group.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00PM Monday, April 4, 2011 at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
