Henry Arnold "Arnie" Hedden, 60, husband of Helen, died January 19, 2007 at his home. He was a native of Highlands, NC and was the son of the late Henry and Bernice Hedden. He was a Supervisor at Oconee Nuclear Station and was a Navy veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer and a member of Boscobel Country Club.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son Hank Hedden and wife Laura of Wailuku, HI, daughter Heather Hedden Beam and husband Todd of Gaffney, SC, sister Wanda Hedden Dryman and husband Mike of Winston-Salem, NC, and grandchild Erin Beam. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Mike Hedden.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 22, 2007, from 6-8 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Chuch, 2101 Six Mile Hwy, Central, SC 29630.
