Easley
Mr. Arthur Parks Arnold, 71, husband of Jane Ramey Arnold, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Greenville Health System.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Parks Eugene and Alama Ruth Fant Arnold, Mr. Arnold retired from Palmetto Loom and Reed and was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. Arthur served with the Three and Twenty Fire Department with twenty years of service.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of the home, are two sons, Carlton Arthur Arnold (Angela) of Six Mile, and Perry Anderson Arnold (Jodi) of Easley; one daughter, Jane Maxine Stegall (Brian) of Easley; four sisters, Zellie Ramey of Easley, Bernice Raiden of Greenville, and Irene Holden and Claudia Cash, both of Liberty; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnold was predeceased by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 8, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
