Arthur Edward Cassell, 90, of 102 Ridgeland Circle, died Sunday, January 4, 2009.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Ben A. and Ada Melinda Chastain Cassell. He was of the Baptist faith, and he retired from the Arial Plant of Alice Manufacturing.
Surviving are a son, Mike Cassell (Becky) of Easley; a daughter, Sandra Nalley (Wayne) of Pickens; a sister, Eddie Jones of Smyrna, Georgia; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Cassell was predeceased by his wife, Lois Bowen Cassell and a brother, J.D. Cassell.
Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 PM Wednesday, at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
Memorials may be made to Countryside Park, 125 Zion School Road, Easley, S.C. 29642.
The family would like to thank the Staff of Countryside Park, for the care they gave to Mr. Cassell.
