Arthur "Art" Connolly, 76, husband to Sharon Howard Connolly, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2017, at his home.

Born in Rossmore, WV, a son to the late Paul Connolly and the late Ottie Maynard Bryant, he was a retired Machinist at General Electric Lighting and Quartz Plants after 34 years of service. Mr. Connolly proudly served his Country in the U.S. Army and attended Marathon Baptist Church in Powdersville.

Surviving, in addition to his loving wife are daughters, Ginger Lee Brannon (Daniel) of Concord, OH and Jill Paulette Connolly of Mauldin; a stepmother, Myrtle Wilburn Connolly (Paul) of Concord, OH; brothers, Billy James Connolly of Verdunville, WV, Ronald Dean Connolly (Joann) of Concord, OH, Ricky David Connolly (Ida) of Mentor, OH, and Rodney Paul Connolly (Karen) of Timberlake, OH; sisters, Johnnie Mae Connolly of Williamson, WV and Marie Collins Guiney (Paul) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and grandchildren, Cory Allen Brannon and Marissa Lee Brannon.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Paul Monroe Connolly and Leslie Connolly; and a sister, Betty Jean Connolly Hackney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will Follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the funeral home.
