Arthur Weiland "Artie" Hutson, Jr, 30, passed away in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
Artie was born at Newport Naval Hospital in Newport, RI, March 19, 1984 to his parents Arthur W. and Denise O'Dell Hutson of Central, SC. He graduated from D. W. Daniel High School, attended Tri County Technical College and graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Upon graduation, he worked for Publix Stores as a customer service representative in Anderson, SC, Gainesville, GA and Matthews, NC.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Kate Hutson, of DeFuniak Springs, FL; grandparents Dr. Thomas and Patricia Hutson of Tupelo, MS; and Jean O'Dell of Petersburgh, NY.
Memorial services will be held at Clemson First Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
