Arthur L. Stewart

Arthur Lee Stewart, 65, widower of Carolyn Elizabeth Stewart, died Saturday, August 11, 2007 at his residence. A native of LaFrance, SC he was the son of the late Julius and Daisy McClaine Stewart. He was retired from Michelin and was a beloved 'Poppa' to his entire family.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda K. Leaphart of Sevierville, TN, Renee Stewart-Hughes of Anderson, SC, Sharon L. Armes and Donna M. Kelsay of Sevierville; son, Brian Stewart of Anderson; brother, Odis Stewart of Anderson; sister Juanita Monroe of LaFrance; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wallace Stewart and Joe B. Stewart and by a great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Fowler.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11am in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9-11 am Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
