Arthur Robert Stress, 81, of 108 Andrews Corner, husband of MaryAnn Urevich Stress, passed away Friday September 17, 2010 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Mr. Stress was born in Manhatten, NY, a son of the late William J. and Catherine Irwin Stress. He retired from the U.S. Department of the Army as a medical administrator. Mr. Stress was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was the recipient of two purple hearts during his time of service. He was a member of The Catholic Church of Saint Luke in Easley, SC.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Robert Arthur Stress and his wife, Glenna, of Easley, SC and Christopher Robert Stress and his wife, Jennifer, of Long Island, N.Y. and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home with Father Emmanuel Efiong officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
