Artie Edwards

July 7, 1955 — June 29, 2022

Powdersville

Artie went home to be with her lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson after a period of declining health. Born in Beaufort South Carolina to Carroll Amos Galloway and Mary Ruth Galloway. Artie was a registered nurse of over 35 years with a master’s degree treating patients on multiple continents in the mission field. She was a devoted mother to her son James Rockford “Rocky” Taylor and a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Jackson Carroll Taylor and Olivia Denise Taylor.  Artie was a special person with one of the kindest hearts you could hope to find. She loved her God, she loved her family and she loved helping others around her.  Artie had countless friends from different periods of her life that were by her side when she needed them most.  She touched so many lives during her time here on earth and was able to show love to everyone that crossed her path in life. Artie never met a stranger and if she did by the time, they parted ways you could say they were friends.  She is predeceased by her parents and leaves behind her greatest achievements, her son and grandchildren. The family would like to pay a special debt of gratitude to Dawn Thompson King for providing care and guidance during the last portion of her life.
Visitation will be held Tuesday July 5, 2022, 2pm until 2:45 with services to follow at 3pm in the  Robinson Funeral Home Powdersville Road Easley South Carolina. Burial is to follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
