Edward Ashley Wells, 40, died Friday, May 18, 2007 at his residence. A native of Clemson, he was the son of Edward L. Wells and Linda Wells Crenshaw. He was a graduate of D.W. Daniel High School and was formerly employed as a branch manager with Eastern Termite Exterminating Company.
Ashley is survived by his son, Austin and daughter Lainey Wells of Irmo, as well as his sister, Debbie Austin of Central. He is also survived by his step-father, Richard V. Crenshaw of Pendleton and step-mother, Kay Wells of Columbia.
Services will be Tuesday at 2pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. The family is at the home of Debbie and Carl Austin, 119 Georgia St., Central.
