Athan Ray Brissey, 79, of Liberty, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024.
Born in Six Mile, he was a son of the late Levi and Lillie Todd Brissey.
Ray was a member of Amazing Grace Fellowship church and loved to fish.
Ray is survived by sons Michael Brissey (Amy) of Pickens and Tyler Brissey of Liberty; a daughter Kayla Crawford (Benji) of Easley; grandchildren, Jessica Pasqualicchio (Tony), Jordan Brissey, Megan Julian (Trad), Madison Holliday (Chase), Mackenzie and Brantley Crawford; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Mavrick, Ida, Cecile, Dallas, Kaylin, and Lillie Rae; brothers, Calvin and Danny Brissey; and a sister, Linda Chastain.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Stancil; brothers, Furman, Donnie, and Floyd Brissey; and a sister, Mae Turner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel.
