Rev. Aubrey Rudolph Jackson

Rev. Aubrey Rudolph Jackson, 85, of 430 St. Paul Rd., beloved husband of Eleanor H. Jackson, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born February 22, 1929 in Black Creek, NC, he was a son of the late Walter and Minnie Daniels Jackson. Rev. Jackson was a US Navy veteran and former chemist with DuPont. Following fifteen years of service with DuPont, he felt the call to the ministry. He graduated from Atlantic Christian College and Tabernacle Bible College. Rev. Jackson pastored Trinity Baptist, Central Baptist and Bible Baptist Churches during his forty five year ministry. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
In addition to the love of is life of fifty nine years, he is survived by his children, Elaine Young (Rev. Russell G. Young), Pamela Apps (Michael), Keith Jackson and Kelvin Jackson; sister, Ruby Reason; grandchildren, Amanda Young, Brooke Jackson and Haley Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Melvin Aiken officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Saturday prior to the service at the church.
