Audrey C. "Shorty" Ellenburg, 83, formerly of 205 Arial Street and husband of Estelle Whitlock Ellenburg of Laurel Hill Living Center, died Saturday, September 30, 2006.
Born in Pickens County, son of the late John and Mae Fowler Ellenburg, he was a retired employee with Alice Manufacturing Arial Plant, was a member of Woodmen of the World and of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving wife of 51 years, he is survived by: a sister-in-law, Inez Ellenburg of Easley; nephews Ernest Rumler and Bill Ingram. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by: brothers, John F. (Dock) Ellenburg and Hugh Ellenburg; and a sister Lillian E. Powell.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM, Monday, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Douglas Goss officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3:15 PM, Monday.
The Harbin Sunday School Class will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
The family is at their respective homes.
Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown is assisting the family.
