Mrs. Ava Lee "Tobby" Manley Brookshire, 62, of Easley, loving wife of Walter Giles Brookshire III, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Tobby was born in Anderson County, SC on September 23, 1954 to the late John and Edith Moore Manley. She spent her life taking care of her family, of which she loved more than anything. She was a humble and sweet spirit that loved baking cakes, her church, her church family, and her little Chihuahua, Emma. Tobby was a member of Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to her loving husband, Mrs. Brookshire is survived by four daughters; Stephanie Milhoan (Brian) of Easley, Jessica Brookshire (Allen Medlock) of Pickens, Ashley Carr (Martin Gonzalez) of Easley, and Amanda Greeno (Leslie) of Pickens; and one sister; Ruth Pilgrim of Six Mile. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; Kayla Brookshire (Max Manley), Dawson Milhoan, Tyler Brougham, Alex Brougham, Caitlyn Brougham, Samuel Wakefield, Ava Medlock, Gracie Medlock, Kason Medlock, Izabella Fisher, Gabriella Carr, Abigail Carr, Katarina Gonzales, Gavin Greeno, Aubrey Greeno, Nathaniel Greeno, and Arianna Greeno, and two great-grandchildren; Kaiden Brookshire and Maxx Manley. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister; Jo Faye Hare.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM PM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy, 133 Furman L. Smith Memorial Highway, Central. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.

The family is at the residence.
