Mrs. Avanelle Eleanor Nix Allsep, 78, widow of Grady L. Allsep, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Avanelle was born in Easley to the late Herbert and Ethel Edens Nix. There wasn�??t anything Avanelle enjoyed more than spending time with her family. She was a member of Geer Memorial Baptist Church, and a homemaker.

Surviving are three sons, Steve (Glenda), Bill, and Mark (Jessica) Allsep, all of Easley; a daughter, Darla Nixon (Tom), of Easley; a sister, Florence Turner, of Easley; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at Rock Spring Baptist Church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.

Family members are at their respective homes.
