Azalea Godfrey Carson, formerly of 112 Couch Lane and widow of Charles T. Carson, died Monday, February 13, 2007 at the Easley Living Center.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Irby Lee and Maude Wilson Godfrey.

She was a retired bookkeeper with Brookline Carpet and was a former bookkeeper with Carolina Blouse and Piedmont Industries. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley.

Surviving is a son, C. Ted Carson Jr. and his wife Rebecca Jayne of Mobile, AL.

Services will be 2 PM, Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with entombment to follow in the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
