Azilee Roper Howard, 80, formerly of Nalley Street, wife of the late Charles Howard, died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the McCall Hospice House.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Parker and Rosa Burns Roper, Mrs. Howard retired from Alice Manufacturing Company and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are a brother, Rayford Roper of Greenville; five sisters, Sue Cisson of Easley, Rachel Ann Watson of Pickens, Frances Kuykendall of Anderson, Montez Farmer of Marshall, NC, and Betty Kunz of Simpsonville. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Howard was predeceased by a sister, Sadie Lecroy.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone way, Greenville, SC 29615.

Family members are at their respective homes.
