Barbara Chapman Alexander, 69, wife of William Alexander, died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at her residence. Born in Central she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Lois Reams Chapman.
In addition to her husband she is survived by sons: William Timothy Alexander of Six Mile and Paul Alexander and wife Christy of Six Mile; daughter Karen Elaine Hall and husband Craig of Easley, grandchildren, Will and Kurtlyn Alexander, Dalton Hall, step-grandson, Christopher Simmons and nephew Kent Chapman.. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brother, Milton Chapman and his wife Gloria, and infant daughter, Pamela Alexander.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:30pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home in Central with burial to follow in Cedar Hill Holiness Church Cemetery in Six Mile. The family will receive friends 1-2:30pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lutheran Hospice, 218-A Trade St., Greer, SC 29652.
