Barbara Jane Arrington, 83 of Easley, SC, died peacefully on November 4, 2020 in her home.
A private memorial and celebration of life service will be held at her home with Reverend Diane Boyer officiating. Arrangements have been made by Robinson Funeral Home.
Barbara Jane Arrington was born on April 23, 1937 in Washington County, Virginia to Maxine and Samuel Johnson. She was married to Clayton Arrington for 42 years until his death in 2009. She completed her undergraduate degree from Troy State University in 1966 and completed a Doctorate in Education degree in 1995 from The University of Georgia. She taught high school in Gwinnett County, Georgia for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Rayburn Scott Waller and daughter, Lisa Jane Rudd, and husband, Wendell. She has 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Barbara Jane would like to be remembered for her search for truth and beauty through nature, spirit, art, and literature. Memorials may be given to Pickens County Animal Shelter or Greenville Humane Society.
