Barbara Blakely 59, of 141 Staunton Bridge Road, went to be with Lord Saturday September 6, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Miss Blakely was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late Charles Harold and Ethel Edwards Blakely. She retired from Amoco Performance Products and was a Christian.

Surviving are her son Aldon Scott Arrowood (Dodie), of Greenville ; a daughter, Lisa Ann Edge (Joe), of Simpsonville ; three brothers, Dan Blakely (Laurie) and Jimmy Blakely, all of Easley and Robert Blakely (Christine), of Travelers Rest ; a sister, Jean Gregory (Ronnie), of Duncan ; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild ; her best friend, Cathy Luker, of Piedmont.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sybil Blakely.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Ronnie Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday from 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
