Barbara Dockery

Barbara Jean Cummings Dockery, 71, wife of the late Wayne Dockery, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home, surrounded by family.
Born in Franklin, PA, a daughter of the late Bruce Cummings and the late Ruth Rials Cummings, she was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her great-granddaughter, Sophia and caring and spending time with her patients. She was a certified nurse's assistant for many years and she was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are sons, Wayne Dockery, Jr and Michael Dockery, both of Easley; a brother, Tom Cummings of Florida; grandchildren, Kristen Ramos, Karina Frey (Matthew), and Brandon Vega; and great-granddaughter, Sophia Ramos.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Christopher Wallace Dockery; a daughter, Theresa Dockery Vega; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Dockery.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday at the cemetery, following the service.
