Barbara Jameson Gantt, 88 of Easley, wife of the late Oscar Charles Gantt, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Burl and Essie Ellison Jameson.

Mrs. Gantt was a graduate of Easley High School and retired from Walmart in Easley. She was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church and was an avid reader.

Surviving are her children, Beth Gantt Robinson of Easley and Gregory Perry Gantt (Sharon) of Norris; grandchildren, Leann, Chuck, Cindy, Cassie, Callie, Jade, Cody, Gregory and Crystal Gantt, Chris and Casey Robinson; 23 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Billy Jameson of Easley.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by sons, Walter Charles Gantt and Gary Wayne Gantt; sisters, Nannie Mae McCollum, Mary Lee Nolan, Betty Abercrombie, Iris Abercrombie and Ruby Jane Barnett; and a brother, B.L. Jameson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Rock Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering of Cedar Rock Baptist Church, 1667 Cedar Rock Church Road, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will be at their respective homes.
