Barbara Jeane Hayes Hancock

Barbara Jeane Hayes Hancock, 79, wife of the late Kenneth Alton Hancock, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021. The family is comforted that she passed at dawn on Easter morning.

Born in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late Clarence Wayne Hayes and the late Gladys Bagwell Hayes, she was retired from Belk as an Accounts Payable Clerk. She was well loved for her felt Christmas stockings. Barbara enjoyed needlework, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dogs. She was a member of Agnew Road Church of God in Greenville.

Survivors include a sister, Teresa Hayes Brown of Easley; a brother-in-law, Mickey Hancock (Brenda) of Greenville; nieces, Debra Hartsgrove (Jim) of Davie, FL, Mary Kuenzel (Mark) of Commerce Twp., MI, Brittney Lynne Campbell of Easley, and Hannah Taylor of Easley; nephews, James Michael Hancock, II of Taylors, Austin Hall of Easley, and Justin Brown of Easley; great nephews, Kyle Kuenzel of Colorado and Paul Kuenzel of Michigan; and many other friends and family members.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, David Wayne Hayes; and a sister, Kathy Darlene Tracy.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
