Barbara Sue Hollowell

Barbara Sue Hollowell, born on January 23, 1957, peacefully departed this life on November 5, 2024.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was a daughter of the late William and Nancy Anderson Hollowell. 

Known for her wonderful sense of humor, Barbara spread immense joy to those around her. Throughout her life, Barbara enjoyed cooking. When she wasn't cooking, Barbara would spend her time reading and doing various arts and crafts. She was also passionate about genealogy, and spending time gardening. Most importantly, Barbara cherished the special moments spent with her family, especially her two granddaughters. 

Barbara leaves behind her daughter Georgia Carfley (Zachary) of Columbia, SC; her granddaughters Frances and June Carfley; her sister Cathy Brown (Larry) of Talking Rock, GA; her brother Scott Hollowell of Peachtree City, GA; her nephew Adam Brown (Meleah) and their child Everett Brown; and her nieces Sophie and Kate Hollowell. 

A memorial will be held for family and friends December 7, 2024, at 1PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
