Barbara Juanita Powell Hubbard, 81, of 107 Oakdale Lane, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at her home.
Born in Abbeville, Mrs. Hubbard was a daughter of the late Robert and Etta Stowe Powell. She retired from Mohasco Industries and was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Hubbard loved music and played the guitar, harmonica and banjo. One of her hobbies was quilting.
Surviving are one son, Dale Posey (Gilda) of Easley; one daughter, Mary Ross (Jerry) of Easley; five grandchildren, Scott and Becky Ross, Angie and Bill Falls, Paul and Ainsley Posey, Shannon Posey and Josh Posey; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William Virgil Hubbard; two brothers; and five sisters.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverends Paul Posey and Jim Correll officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday prior to the service.
The family is at the home of Mary Ross, 108 Mountain View Drive, Easley, SC 29640.
