Barbara Jean Brooks Ladd, 69, of 14 W. Summit Drive, died Monday March 5, 2007 at Self Regional Health Care in Greenwood, SC.
Born in Greenville County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer Jones and Georgia Nichols Thurston. Mrs. Ladd was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are: five sons, Thomas W. Brooks, Jim Allen Brooks and wife Judy, and Mike J. Brooks and wife Sandi, all of Greenville, Mark Brooks and Earl Brooks, both of Ware Shoals; a step son, Michael Ladd and his wife of Easley; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Phillips and Velma Barnett.
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Thursday in Graceland Cemetery-West.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
The family is at the home of a son, Jim Allen Brooks, 114 Grove Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
