Barbara M. Turner

Barbara M. Turner, 74, of Easley, South Carolina, wife of the late Larry Turner, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at her home.

Born in Easley, South Carolina, she was the oldest daughter of the late Wallace Edward and Beatrice Corrine Landreth Masters. She was a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Barbara worked for 35 years as head of the library's computer department at Captain Kimberly Hampton Memorial Library, the Easley Branch of the Pickens County Library System, until she retired in 2007. She and her late husband loved to travel anywhere from the beaches to the mountains. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, whom she deeply loved.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Chad Fields (Kim); grandchildren, Dustin Hendrix (Olivia), Parker Fields (Michelle), Jayme Hendrix, Hailey Fields, and Madison Fields; great-grandchildren, Ezra Hendrix; her brother, William Edward Masters (Anne); and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

In addition to her husband and both parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Gary Lee Fields; her sister, Betty Sue Bolding (Richard).

A private family burial will be held at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
