Barbara Hinkle Orr, 74, of 1510 Circle Road, wife of Dewey Orr, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016.
Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Johnson Hinkle.
Mrs. Orr was well known in the Atlanta area for her dance school she owned and operated for forty years where she mentored and taught thousands of students. She loved to work in her garden and sit on her sun porch watching her birds. She was a true Clemson Tiger fan who enjoyed tailgating with her good friends “The Browns”. Also, she was a member of the Piedmont Association of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her sons, Buzzy Bramble and Todd Bramble (Cindy); a sister, Beverly Baugh (Bill); grandchildren, Bret, Brandon, Carmen, Hale, Cole and Morgan; five great grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth, to whom she provided care for many years.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Anderson County Meals on Wheels, 105 S. Fant Street, Anderson, SC 29624.
The family will be at the home.
