Barbara Louise Paul, 65, of Easley, passed away Monday March 3, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Paul was born in Barboursville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ross and Sybil Gibson Paul. She retired from K R Wind Company in Texas where she was a heavy equipment operator. She was the first woman to receive a national certificate for operating heavy equipment. She was a Baptist.
Surviving is her son, Mark Cooper and his wife, Teresa, of Easley, SC; two grandchildren, Dillon and Ildiko, both of Easley, SC.
A memorial service is planned for a later date in Texas. A gathering of friends and relatives will be announced later for a Greenville, SC location.
The family is at their home.
