Barbara Ann Towe Thomas

Barbara Ann Towe Thomas, 80, of Central, wife of the late Eulice Covey "Jack" Thomas, Jr., passed away February 8, 2022.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Escow and Irene Childress Towe. Barbara retired from the textile and child protective service industries. Additionally, she was a homemaker, an excellent cook, singer, pianist and enjoyed camping. Her most beloved title was that of "Nanny".
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Thomas (Trish) of Central; daughter, Rhonda Leopard (Robert) of Clemson; son-in-law, Mike Rhoads of Norris; sister, Betty Towe Reese of Pickens; grandchildren, Brandon Thomas (Kelly), Eric Leopard (Kim), Trista Wilson (Brad), Parker Rhoads, Caleb Rhoads and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomas was predeceased by her husband, parents, son, Gregory Scott Thomas; daughter, Marla Ann Thomas Rhoads; sisters, Edna Towe Hendricks and Evelyn Towe Green.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Memory Gardens, Clemson.
