Barry Mark Owens

Barry Mark Owens, 62, passed away on November 3, 2025. He was a cherished husband, a dedicated father, and a beloved grandfather.

Born on February 3, 1963, in Pickens County, he was a son of the late John Charles "J.C." Owens and Pauline Ates Owens.

Mark had a passion for spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, and was a dedicated fan of everything Clemson Tigers.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Darlene Holder Owens, who stood by his side through life's many adventures. He also leaves behind his three sons; Stephen Owens (Alicia) of Liberty, Eric Owens (Kimberly) of Salem, and J.L. Owens (Brittiny) of Central. Mark's legacy continues through his grandchildren Michaela, Taylor, Emily, Kate, Abby, Hunter, Savannah, Payten, Brenleigh, and Hannaniah, along with a much-anticipated great-grandchild, Grayson. He is also survived by his brother Chester "Chet" Owens.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother Al McAbee and his sister Sheila Cole.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service in honor of Mark will be held Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central, SC.
