Beatrice Simmons Jones, 87, of 154 Cobb Street, died Saturday, October 27, 2007, at Oakmont East Nursing Center.
Born in Pickens County, Mrs. Jones was a daughter of the late Ingram and Essie Holder Simmons. She was formerly employed with the Judson Plant of Milliken Corp. and retired from ECP. She was a member of White Plains Baptist Church and attended United Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Eastern Star at White Plains.
Surviving are one son, Bobby Ray Jones and his wife, Jerralene, of Pelzer; a daughter, Willie Mae Moody Kelly and her husband, Clarence, of Easley; two sisters, Lucy Abercombie of Pelzer and Dot Wilson of Easley; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Reverends Donnie Massingill and Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Escort of Honor will be the Ladies Bible Class of United Wesleyan Church.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Bobby and Jerralene Jones, 109 Lockaby Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.
