Beatrice Greer Smith, 88, of 207 Cleo Chapman Highway and widow of William Henry Smith, died Saturday at Cannon Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William L. and Nettie Fletcher Greer, she was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Easley Mill and retired from Publix Supermarket in Florida.
Surviving are a son Jack Albert Adams and wife, Glenda, of Sunset; daughter, Pat Adams Steinbrecher and husband, Joe, of Pickens; one brother, Joe Greer and wife, Betty, of Easley; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Henry Adams; two brothers, Lloyd and Roy Greer; and two sisters, Gladys G. Brown and Matril G. Miller.
Graveside services will be 11 AM, Tuesday in Robinson Memorial Gardens. with Rev. Danny Parton officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
The family is at the home.
