Belva Christine Bennett

Belva Christine Henderson Bennett, 80, of Clemson died Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home.Born in Clemson, she was a daughter of the late Warren and Zelma Richey Henderson.  Belva was a 1953 graduate of Calhoun-Clemson High School and worked in the Athletic Department at Clemson University for 40 years.  She was a member of Pendleton United Methodist Church.Surviving are two daughters, Lisa DeAngelis and husband, John, and children, Lydia and John Warren DeAngelis of Virginia Beach, VA and Rene' Bennett and husband, Jonathan Bedenbaugh, and children, Joshua and Matthew Bedenbaugh of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Benny Henderson of Seneca, SC; sisters, Margaret Gambrell of Pendleton, SC, Mary Jean Lehmann of Seneca, SC, Elaine Hunter of Clemson, SC, and Dorothy Bradley of Pendleton, SC.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Barbara Wade.Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday at Pendleton United Methodist Church with Rev.
