Benita Lynn Ellison Black, 42, of 1245 North Old Pendleton Road and wife of the late John E. Black, passed away Thursday December 13, 2012 at her home.
Mrs. Black was born in Easley, SC, a daughter of the late Joe and Betty McAlister Ellison. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Surviving are her son, Eddie Wayne Ashley, of Honea Path; a daughter, Bridget Lynn Durham, of Easley; a brother, Tony Ellison (Tinna), of Easley; three sisters, Evelyn Reid (Randy), of Pickens, Melinda Ellison and Barbara Black (Tony), both of Easley; one grandchild, Aalyha Lynn Riddle.
A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday December 22, 2012 at Bible Baptist Church with the Reverend Mark Dibler officiating. Private burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service, at the church.
