Benjamin Lee Burrell, 64, of Magnolia Manor, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, August 2, 2008, at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Greer, SC, a son of the late Walter and Gaynell Burrell Burrell, Mr. Burrell was retired from the City of Seneca as Director of Public Works and was a member of West Gantt Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Imogene Nunn Burrell of the home; a daughter, Alice Owens of Piedmont; a brother, Dan Burrell of Greer; a sister, Dot Gosnell of Tryon,NC; three grandsons; and two great-grandsons. In addition to his parents, Mr. Burrell was predeceased by a daughter, Vivian Spivey.
Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 05, 2008 at Robinson Funeral Home 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at the funeral home,Tuesday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, prior to the service.
The family is at 514 Clarendon Drive, Easley.
The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the account of Benjamin Burrell at Pinnacle Bank 10506 Anderson Road Easley, SC 29642 to offset medical expenses.
