Benjamin Cabrera, 80, of 215 Grace Avenue, husband of the late Esther Pagan Cabrera, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at the home of his daughter.
Born in Havana, Cuba, the son of the late Sebastian and Carmen Herrera Cabrera, Mr. Cabrera retired from Tingle Rubber Corp. in New Jersey.
Surviving are three sons, Santiago Cabrera of South Boundbrook, NJ, Andres Cabrera of Liberty, and Mizael Cabrera of Easley; a daughter, Esther Matthews of Easley; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his daughter, Esther Mathhews, 223 Meadow lane, Easley, SC 29642.
