Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Morton

Mr. Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Morton, 86, husband of Ruth Finley Morton, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Born in Anderson County, the son of the of the late Shuler Morton and the late Sarah Thacker Morton, Mr. Morton retired from Greenwood Mills-Liberty and attended 5-Point Church.

Ben loved camping, hunting, fishing, yard selling and gardening, he just loved the outdoors. He was a true family man that loved his family dearly. Ben will be missed by all that loved and knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of twenty-three years, are two sisters, Jo McCall of Easley, and Elizabeth Davenport of Anderson; and two granddaughters, Stephanie and Jennifer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Morton was predeceased by a brother, M.J. Morton; a sister, Lillie Mae Bishop; and two step-daughters, Jean and Kathy.

The family will host a memorial service at 1:30 PM Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 5 Point Church, Easley.

The family is at the home of his sister, Jo McCall, 403 Randall Road, Easley, SC 29642.
