Bennie Ballew, Jr., loving husband to Lynn McWhite Ballew, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 31, 2017.

Born in Greenville, a son to the late Bennie V. Ballew, Sr. and the late Catherine McNeely Ballew, he was a retired Industrial Mechanic and loved building things, hiking, kayaking ,and everything outdoors.

Surviving, in addition to his wife are sons, Bennie Joseph Ballew of Piedmont, Michael Benton Ballew, and John Wesley Ballew, both of Portland, OR; a brother, William "Bill" Ballew; nieces, Penny and Jenny; and nephew, Bill, all of Easley; a sister, Brenda Wyatt (John);and niece, Alicia; all of Piedmont; and his beloved dogs, Gidget, Pebbles, Ardie, and Reagan.

Mr. Ballew was predeceased by his parents and a son, Richard Jacob Ballew; and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Ballew.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the funeral home.
