Bennie Dawson Rogers, 76, beloved husband of Ann Casey Rogers, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, October 15, 2022, at his home.

Born in Mullins, SC, he was a son of the late Herbert Boyd Rogers, Sr., and Gracie Powell Rogers.

Bennie was the owner and operator of Casey’s Stop and Shop in Easley for 36 years. He was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church, the Bates Masonic Lodge #189 A.F.M., the Jacksonville Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and the Middleburg York Rite Bodies. He also enjoyed gardening.

Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Ann Rogers; his sons, Casey Rogers (Jennifer) of Anderson and Dawson Rogers (Jessica) of Easley; a grandson, James Dawson Rogers; a sister, Ozella Hughes of Martinez, GA; and a sister-in-law, Anne Rogers of Greenwood, SC.

In addition to his parents, Bennie was predeceased by a brother, Herbert Boyd Rogers, Jr.; and sisters, Irene Hyatt, and Lorene McElveen.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted.
