Benny Kelly, 82, of Pendleton, husband to Patsy Brock Kelly, passed away November 18, 2021.
Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Alvin Kelly and Lillie Stegall Giles. Mr. Kelly attended Pendleton High School and retired from Libco Carpet and Anderson School District 4. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church and attended Refuge Baptist Church. Benny was a founding member of the Pendleton Rescue Squad. He enjoyed finding and making walking sticks, fishing, picking blackberries and pecans and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Patsy Brock Kelly; children, Karen Ladd (Wayne), Kathy Kelly, Kenny Kelly and Benji Kelly, all of Pendleton; brother, Willis Kelly (Joan) of Anderson; grandchildren, Jeremy Ladd (Nicole), Kayla Smith (Travis) Jon David Musick (Lindsay), Nathan Musick, Kelli Croft (Matthew), Hannah Kelly, Shaylie Kelly and Jordan Kelly; great grandchildren, Kampbell, Ella, AnnaBlair, Avery, Karleigh, Matti, Rhett, Caroline, Abigail, Briella, Lainey and Jaxson.
Mr. Kelly was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Marvin Kelly.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
