Bertha Grace Spearman Metz, 75, widow of Winston (Little Boy) Metz, died at Anderson Area Medical Center on December 25, 2008. A native of Pickens County she was the daughter of the late Harley Glen and Bertha Pressley Spearman. She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by son Danny Bryant and wife Toni of Anderson, daughters: Gina Donn of Simpsonville and Debbie Clardy of Pickens; brother, Ernest Spearman of Williamston; sisters, Ethel Anderson and Ruth Neely and her husband John of Central; grandchildren, Bryan Rowland, Graceann Reed, Jodi Whitfield, Dena Rowan, Lance Bryant, Jessica Bryant and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
