Bertie Snider Moore, 82, widow of Fred Moore, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at North Greenville Hospital. She was a native of Pickens County and was the daughter of the late Bry Snider and the late Bessie Cater. She was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church and retired from Central Textiles.
She is survived by a son, Chester Moore and wife Gloria of Liberty; a son-in-law, Joseph Holmes of Conway; brother, Paul Snider of Cateechee; half-sisters, Louise Cater of Wake Forest, NC and Mary Cater of Central; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol F. Holmes.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2pm at Cannon Memorial Baptist Church with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8pm and will be placed in the church on Tuesday at 1pm.
