Betty Ann Smith Hopkins, 81, wife of the late Teddy Meckler Hopkins, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Velma Wade Smith.

Betty was a member of Providence Baptist Church and had worked in the cafeteria at Monaview Elementary School.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, growing beautiful flowers, and with her faithful companion, her dog Sugar.

Surviving are her children; Terry Hopkins (Kathy) of Easley, Tracy Logan (Bob) of Athens, GA, and Tammy Porter of Greenville; a sister Robin Smith of Greer; grandchildren, TJ Hopkins (Breanna), Hannah Hopkins (Giacomo Campus), and Chris Porter (Casey); great-grandchildren, Trey Hopkins, Abby Black, Brooke Porter, Paige Porter.

A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Hunts Memorial Baptist Church, 501 Alex Dr, Easley, SC 29640.
