Betty Pruitt Autry, 82, of 100 Belmont Circle, wife of the late Claudius "Gene" Cleveland Autry, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Anderson Medical Center.
Born in Greenville, SC, a daughter of the late Willie Joshia and Ruby Elsie Thurston Pruitt, Mrs. Autry retired from Woodside Mills and was a member of Edgewood Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Autry (Hazel), of Piedmont, SC; a daughter, Deborah Ellett (Butch), of Anderson, SC; two brothers, Carl Pruitt (Nancy), of Greenville, SC and Vernon Pruitt (Pearl), of Fayetteville, NC; a sister, Judy Waters (Mike), of Durham, NC; one grandchild, Brittany Miceli, of Starr, SC and one great-grandchild, Ashlynn Miceli, of Starr, SC.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 10:45 am Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
