Betty Jean LaBoone Barnes, 84, of 236 Falcon Drive, formerly of Easley, SC, and wife of the late Charles Edward Barnes, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Palmetto Health Baptist in Columbia.
Born in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late James Oliver LaBoone and Selma Gambrell LaBoone.
Mrs. Barnes was retired from J.P. Stevens, Monaghan Plant, and was a Baptist. She loved her family and her dog, Biscuit.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy Jean Barnes Lineberger (Ted) of Lexington, SC; two grandchildren, Tara Young and Stuart Black; and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Carolyn Barnes; a sister; and three brothers.
Private graveside services were held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
