Betty Richards Clausen, 86, wife of the late, Hugh Clausen, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Clemson Downs.

Mrs. Clausen was born in Tuscalossa, AL, and was the daughter of the late Lewis M. and Rynie Silas Richards.  She loved to play bridge, and was a member of the Clemson Garden Club and St. Andrews Catholic Church.

Surviving are her son, Joe Clausen and his wife, Jillayne of Richmond, TX, and her daughter, Melinda Clausen of Cincinnati, Ohio.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April, 7, 2016 at St. Andrews Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.  Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
