Betty D Davis, 78, of Easley, passed away Thursday, July 29,2010 at Baptist Easley Hospital, after a sudden illness.
Born in Volusia County, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Admiral Dewey Daniels and Blanche Young Daniels. Mrs. Davis was an award-winning hair stylist before becoming manager of The Wurst Haus German Restaurant and Beer Garden in Alpine Helen, Ga., where she served for one year. She was the assistant editor of The White County News and then assumed the same position at Georgia Mountain Telegraph.
Surviving are her husband, Dan Davis of the home; a daughter, Patricia Furstenberg; two sons, John W. Stuckey Jr. and Timothy J. Stuckey; two grandsons, Spencer Furstenberg and Tim Stuckey; two great-granddaughters, Savannah Ramey Stuckey and Nevaeh Faye Stuckey; and several other great- grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Daytona Beach.
